I bought this watch for my boyfriend and he loves it! The silver part is not quite at white as it looks in the picture and the black part is not quite as dark. When I was buying it I thought that the picture looked very bold, however it ended up having much less contrast, and a lot nicer looking then I expected. For not knowing much about watches, I think I made a really good buy!

Esthetically, this Fossil Twist is simply stunning. Some time earlier, I got the black version, that is: black faceplate and croc band and I like it A LOT. But this steel and brown leather watch is just a knockout!

To begin with, the picture doesn't come close to revealing its great looks. The appearance is much brighter and more silvery. Yet "champaigne" is a wonderfully apt description. It certainly isn't brown as indicated in the product description.

The visible mechanics of the automatic seconds subidial is cool but the quartz-accuracy of the hour and minute hands, appealingly set off-center, is appreciated. The subdials for the date, day-of-week, and 24-hour indicator are in quite an attractive arrangement on the face. The size of the steel case and width of the supple brown leather band are just right, sizable but not too much.

A great watch to see and be seen in! Thanks, fossil. This is one of the greats.

I'd been coveting this watch for a while, and finally got it for myself as a birthday gift. The watch is very nice looking, and very solidly made. The size is bigger than other watches I've had in the past (the metal case sits up pretty boxy and tall), and I love that about it! The dial and the "exposed gears" are really nice looking, and I've gotten plenty of complements on it. The brown leather band is nice and thick, and looks nice. It's a great watch for both dressy and casual occasions...and I wear it every day now.

The one thing I will mention is that the color is a little different than what is shown in the main product photo. As you can see in the great user-provided photos, the color of the background inside the case is a little bit more of a "darker gray" or maybe gunmetal(?) color than the light tan (what is described as, and I think of as "champagne") shown in the main photo. Also the hands and gears, etc. are a little more silvery than the "goldish"... Read more
